A very wet month again, with some torrential thundery downpours during the first week.
The weather in Andalucia during February quickly moves into Spring mode, with Malaga and the Costa Del Sol first to see the new shoots of the new season.
As the first tentative signs of Spring emerge across northern Europe, in Andalucia it is full speed ahead with the countryside covered by a multitude of flowers.
The Costa del Sol can have fickle weather during April as early tourists arriving at Malaga Airport can easily testify.
Another very wet month, but with temperatures not far from average.
Across Andalucia the sun shines in May, and in Malaga, as well as along the rest of the Costa del Sol, summer begins.
Sunglasses and straw hats are mandatory across Andalucia during June as fierce sunshine is the order of the day
Plenty of dry and sunny weather, but slightly cooler than in most years with no hot days.
In July, those living inland across Andalucia flock to the coast where the refreshing sea breezes of the Costa del Sol afford some relief from the torrid heat of the interior.

The weather in Malaga and across Andalucia usually stays hot throughout September; and with the sea at it's warmest, the humidity on the coast remains high.
A dry month with no hot days in a typically pleasant September.
Those visiting Malaga and the rest of Andalucia during October can experience some dramatic weather with thunderstorms breaking up the daily ration of sunshine.
A rather dry month. Cooler than last year but still a pleasantly warm October.
Those people wishing to flee the dreary weather of a northern european November should consider the coast from Nerja to Estepona as a getaway option for sunshine and pleasantly warm days.
Rather wet with temperatures close to average. Two Levanters at the end of the month.
Those heading to Malaga during December should be rewarded with plenty of sunshine. However, even the Costa del Sol has some poor days during early winter.
Extremely wet , especially in the week before Christmas, but also fairly mild.
Exceptionally high rainfall was the main feature of the weather during 2010. Remarkably, each of the last two Decembers have produced over 300 mikllimetres (12 inches) of rain. Perhaps not surprisingly, considering the often wet sate of the ground, day-time temperature levels for the year were rather depressed.
