One of the best Spanish Ferias, and maybe the biggest street party in Europe, is held in Malaga from the 15th - 24th of August.
The Feria - which is not actually a real feria because there is no horse fair - celebrates the conquest of the Moors in the late 15th century. Flamenco is the dress code and the dance is performed in the streets by both professionals and amateurs alike.
