General Climate and Weather in Granada
Almost enclosed by mountains, and at over 700 metres above sea level,
Granada exhibits a markedly different climate to that experienced along the Costa del Sol.
The dry summer heat is usually tolerable, but in the winter it can be grey, cold and occasionally wet.
